Instructor: Patrick Cain
Patrick is a partner in Cain Solutions Inc. and has 35 years of business experience in a variety of progressive roles. He has spent a significant portion of his career in the Logistics and Transportation Industries, including roles as CEO/Majority Shareholder (Cain Express), President (National Fast Freight, Totalline Transport, Hyphen Transportation Management) and VP Business Development (Titanium Transportation Group).
He also has significant experience with large 3PL organizations, including operations & business development leadership roles with Ryder and SCI Group. As a consultant, he served as VP Operational Performance Improvement-Ontario for the Createch Group, a Bell Canada subsidiary
He has a successful track record in leading organizations through the development and implementation of strategy and tactics that have grown both top line revenue and bottom line profits.
During his career, Patrick also developed significant experience in strategic selling, negotiation and key account management processes with large Fortune 500 firms. He has developed business with organizations such as General Motors, Ford, Amazon.com, Molson-Coors and Sobeys by creating compelling value propositions, resulting in business awards in excess of $250 million. He currently works on assisting organizations with developing strategy to enhance customer and shareholder value, as well as on the implementation of performance improvement initiatives that support corporate strategic initiatives.
Patrick is a business graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, and also holds professional designations from the Canadian Professional Logistics Institute (PLog), Canadian Institute of Traffic & Transportation (CCLP), and the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CSP). He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the McMaster Institute for Transportation and Logistics. He has previously served as an Executive in Residence for the Ivey Business School at Western University, as well on the Boards of Sheridan College, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, the Ontario Trucking Association and Supply Chain & Logistics Canada. He has lectured and presented to a wide variety of groups including the Conference Board of Canada, York University MBA Program, Queens Executive Development Program and the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada.

Seminar Cancellation/Refund Policy:
A full refund will be issued on cancellations received in writing at least 10 business days prior to the seminar/course start date. An administration fee of $150.00 is applicable if notification is received between three and nine days prior to start date. Thereafter no refund will be available. Substitutions and transfer of registrations is permissible when received in writing three business days before the seminar/course start date. Please note that credits to be used for future offerings are valid for 12 months from the date of initial payment and will expire if not used in that time frame.
Seminar Cancellation/Rescheduling:
In the event of a seminar being cancelled or rescheduled, prior notification will be given to registrants by phone or e-mail, with the option of a full refund of registration fees or transfer of registration to another Supply Chain Canada offering.
Registrations must be received no later than 3 days prior to the start date to allow time for processing confirmation.
Attendees will receive a confirmation email with the specific seminar details, such as room number shortly after registering for the event.
