Advanced Standing - Supply Chain Operations Workflow - Self Study Online
Date: | Apr 01, 2023 - Apr 30, 2023 | |
Location: | Online |
You have 30 days from today to complete this course.
Registration: $500.00 + HST
This course will include online content and two online quizzes. The online quizzes (True/False and Multiple Choice) will provide immediate feedback on whether or not you have successfully understood the exercises. This workshop is not a test. It builds on material you have encountered in the SMT program, and it provides an indication of the complexity of some topics (planning and capacity management) you will study in the SCMP program. The online workshop, including quizzes, can be completed in a single day, or can be taken one topic at a time, as you wish.
Upon completion of this online workshop, students are able to:
- Describe elements of the SCOR Model process
- Identify production sequencing techniques
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the impact of cycle time on pipeline stock and safety stock
- Demonstrate an awareness of the relationship between planning and forecasting, and speculative and reactive capacity
- Explain capacity and time constraints in supply chain management
Topics
- Improving supply chain management with SCOR model processes
- Production Sequencing Techniques
- Gantt charts
- Theory of Constraints
- Impact of cycle time on pipeline stock and safety stock
- Planning and forecasting with speculative versus reactive capacity
- Managing capacity and time constraints in the supply chain
Registration will be closed 30 days before the course end date to allow for a minimum of 30 days to complete the course.
